Hydrogels

TRIGOgel is a clear, viscous, sterile gel which maintains a moist wound healing environment conducive to healing. Dependant on wound conditions, TRIGOgel rehydrates dry necrotic tissue, to promote debridement in dry wounds, or absorbs wound slough and exudates where a small amount of exudates is present.

TRIGOgel can be easily and gently removed by means of an appropriate wound cleaning with, for example a sterile 0.9% saline solution or a sterile Ringer´s rinsing solution; this produces little or no trauma to the wound, and so results in improved wound healing and pain-free dressing changes.

TRIGOgel is always used in combination with a secondary dressing.
